This was my 2nd Non drafting race. The field of athletes was strong and the course proved to be challenging.
Swimming took place in the river running through the city of Bruges, quite narrow and with some 'cornerning'. I had good swim but was a litte bit down on my main rival.
During the bike leg, I suffered quite a bit, as I'm still learning the TT game a litte bit. But still had good ride but lost some more time.
On the run I was quite tired but held a solid pace and crossed the finish line in 2nd place. The winner, Christophe Dekeyser, was a class too strong.
The race course was really beautiful and it was joy to race on. Happy with the result and learned a lot. Still need to improve my TT bike riding!
